The Live Wire, an intimate performance series that presents the best emerging musicians and songwriters from across the country – and across the world – up close and personal. If you're tired of bad bands, overproduced junk, and astronomical ticket prices, plug in with The Live Wire.

The Live Wire kicks off its inaugural season with Craig Cardiff, one of Canada ’s best singer/ songwriters, teaming up with the enchanting New York-based songstress, Leah Seigel, for what promises to be the best night of new, lyric-driven music you’ll hear this fall. Electric Pear Productions is committed to cross-genre and cross-border collaboration that uses traditional narrative and innovative artistic risk to deepen the scope of the American performance landscape. Electric Pear, a non-profit production company, will provide resources, support and a nurturing environment where artists can create and launch original plays and multi-disciplinary pieces that spotlight collaborative and participatory performance.  Electric Pear just closed the extended FringeNYC Encore Series run of Ashlin Halfnight’s Diving Normal, winner of the 2006 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for Best Ensemble.
